Yes — the strips are IP68, sealed against dust and full immersion, so storms, slush and packed snow are a non-issue. The controller and battery pack are splash-proof rather than submersible, so don't leave those sitting in water. In deep cold, expect somewhat shorter battery runtime.

Will it change how my board rides?
Will it change how my board rides?
No. The strips sit flat along the top edges and weigh a few grams — you won't feel them in the flex or notice the weight. They're low-profile enough that they don't catch on rails or boxes either.
Am I allowed to use these at a resort?
Am I allowed to use these at a resort?
At the vast majority of hills, yes — they're a visibility aid, the same idea as a light on a bike. A handful of resorts have rules about lights during night sessions, so if yours is strict it's worth a quick check with patrol. We've yet to hear of one saying no.
Can I put them on skis instead?
Can I put them on skis instead?
Yes. One set does one snowboard, or one pair of skis with a strip on each. Same install, same adhesive, same controller. Plenty of people run them on skis.
What if a strip gets torn off in a crash?
What if a strip gets torn off in a crash?
Crash damage isn't covered by the warranty — but the strips sit on the top sheet, out of the way of your edges, and they're far tougher to rip off than they look. If one does come off, a replacement set is cheaper than a new board, and we'll help you get one.
