Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
GLOWDECK ("we", "us") operates this store. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions about any of it go to glowdeck@outlook.com.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, billing address, and phone number if you provide one. Your payment card details go directly to our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
When you browse: your device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, time on site, and referring site. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.
When you contact us or subscribe: your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message.
Why we use it
- To process, fulfil and deliver your order
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your emails
- To handle returns, faults, and customer support
- To detect and prevent fraud and payment abuse
- To understand how the store is used so we can improve it
- To send marketing emails, only if you opted in — every one has an unsubscribe link
Who we share it with
We share only what's necessary, with:
- Shopify — the platform this store runs on, which hosts our data
- Payment processors (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal) — to take payment securely
- Our fulfilment and shipping partners — your name and address, so your order can be delivered
- Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google Analytics, Meta) — usage data, where those tools are active
- Email service providers — if you subscribed to marketing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the store will still work, but some parts, including checkout, may not behave correctly.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes — generally seven years, as required for business records. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time
- Port your data to another service
- Object to or restrict certain processing
To exercise any of these, email glowdeck@outlook.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.
If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you're in Quebec, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Children
This store isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
International transfers
We're based in Canada, and our service providers may process data in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. Privacy law in those countries may differ from your own.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, and payment pages are encrypted. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be posted here.
