Welcome to GLOWDECK. By browsing or buying from this store, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

1. Who we are

This store is operated by GLOWDECK, a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada. Throughout these terms, "we" and "us" mean GLOWDECK; "you" means you, the customer.

2. Using this site

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from this store.

You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to access it in any unauthorised way, to interfere with its security, or to copy, scrape, resell or exploit any part of it without our written permission.

3. Products and pricing

We do our best to display product colours, dimensions and details accurately, but screens vary and we can't guarantee your monitor shows colours exactly as they are.

Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and may change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, and to refuse or cancel any order placed at an incorrectly listed price — if we do, we'll refund you in full.

Products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities or discontinue a product at any time.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a shipping destination we can't serve. If we cancel an order you've paid for, you get a full refund.

Please check your order details before submitting. Once an order enters processing, we can't change items or the shipping address.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. See our Shipping Policy for processing times, transit windows, customs and lost parcels.

6. Returns and refunds

We accept returns for damaged, defective or faulty products. We don't accept returns for change of mind or for used products that aren't faulty. The full terms — including how to report a fault and what we need from you — are in our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Product use and safety

GLOWDECK is an accessory for recreational snowsports equipment. You are responsible for installing it correctly and for riding safely.

• Follow the installation instructions, including cleaning the base before applying the strips
• Check the strips and controller are secure before every session
• The product is a visibility aid. It does not make you visible in all conditions, does not replace safe riding, and is not a substitute for proper equipment, instruction or judgement
• Don't use the product on equipment it isn't designed for, and don't modify or cut the strips
• Only ride where and when the resort or landowner permits

Snowboarding and skiing carry inherent risk of serious injury. Using our product does not reduce that risk, and you accept it.

8. Warranty

Our products are covered against manufacturing defects as set out in our Refund & Return Policy. Beyond that, products are provided "as is" and we make no other warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to a product or to this site is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including injury or property damage arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or riding beyond your ability.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations of liability. Where that's the case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

10. Intellectual property

The GLOWDECK name, logo, product designs, photography, text and site content are our property or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written consent.

11. Your content

If you send us reviews, photos, comments or suggestions, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish them in connection with our business. You confirm the content is yours to share and doesn't infringe anyone's rights. We may edit or remove any submission and we're under no obligation to publish it.

12. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites and services we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always on this page, and using the site after a change means you accept it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
